Democracy, the birthplace of modern philosophy, logic and so on.

Basically all things sweet and good like a candy cane
During the times of Pericles, quite a few achievements took place. A man named Anaxagoras brought philosophy from Ionia to Athens. He tried to give a scientific account of eclipses, meteors, rainbows, and the sun. Another achievement is the ability to collect his materials systematically and arrange them in a well made narrative. This was brought upon the culture by a man named Herodotus. Aeschylus wrote plays according to Aristotle. Theatre has been around for thousands of years, and Aeschylus’ play “The Persians,” taught us much about Greece back then.
